How CRIX gets and checks its data
CRIX has no editors writing match reports. Every number on this site comes from a data source listed here, and every summary is generated from those numbers. This page says where the data comes from, what we cover, how terms are defined and how to get an error fixed.

Record definitions
- Batting average: runs scored divided by the number of times dismissed.
- Strike rate: runs scored per 100 balls faced.
- Economy: runs conceded per over bowled.
- Overs are written as completed overs and balls, so 19.4 means 19 overs and 4 balls.
- Career figures count the matches in our records. They can differ from official records for older matches we do not hold.
Update cadence
Live pages refresh while a match is on, and each page shows when its data was last updated in Indian Standard Time. Finished-match pages are fixed once the scorecard is confirmed. ICC rankings change when the ICC publishes a new update, and each rankings page shows its date. For the win probability estimate, see how win probability works.
