WPL 2027 auction: UP Warriorz signs Sneh Rana for Rs. 30 lakh
The off-spinning all-rounder has featured in every edition since the inaugural one in 2023.
India international Sneh Rana was bought by UP Warriorz for Rs. 30 lakh at the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2027 auction in Kochi on Wednesday.
The off-spinning all-rounder has featured in every edition of the tournament since its inaugural season in 2023. She spent the first two seasons with Gujarat Giants, which signed her for Rs. 75 lakh. Sneh also captained the Giants during the 2023 season.
“Excited for this opportunity. To bowl with Sophie Ecclestone and Deepti Sharma will be a lot of fun. We have a good spin attack. Excited to play under Meg Lanning,” Sneh said.
The 32-year-old joined Royal Challengers Bengaluru ahead of the 2025 season before moving to Delhi Capitals as an injury replacement last season.
In 27 WPL matches, Sneh has scored 136 runs and taken 13 wickets.
