Gujarat Giants Women WPL 2027 Auction: Players Bought, Remaining Purse, and Full Squad

The Women's Premier League (WPL) 2027 auction was held in Kochi on Wednesday, October 28. Gujarat Giants entered the auction with the second-highest purse of INR 1.25 crore. Only the UP Warriorz had a higher purse, INR 3.75 crore.

Under Ashleigh Gardner's leadership, the Giants reached the playoffs last season after finishing at No. 2 on the points table after the end of the round-robin phase of the tournament. However, their campaign ended with a crushing seven-wicket defeat to the Delhi Capitals in the Eliminator.

Ayushi Soni, Danielle Wyatt-Hodge, Shivani Singh, and Titas Sadhu were the four players that Gujarat released last month. They retained 15 players. In the auction, they could add a maximum of three players, including one overseas player.
