The tweets quickly grabbed the attention of James' fans, many of whom were shocked to see their favorite player struggling on the court.

"Had my King fighting for his life 😭," a fan wrote, reacting to the ankle breaker.

"Dmn he did this to the King, if he had scored I would have said Bron needs to consider retirement 😂😂😂," another fan added.

While most fans were shocked that James almost had his ankles taken, others shared their views on Slawson's chase-down block.

"Youngin blocked Bron? HELL NO. FOUL!!" a fan commented.

Although James struggled in the matchup on Wednesday, the forward ultimately had the last laugh, recording a double-double with 13 points and 10 assists. The 76ers also managed to defeat the Pacers, securing a 114-109 win, their fourth in five games.

With the superstar now in his early 40s, it is no surprise that he has shown signs of aging this season. However, despite this, he remains a fierce competitor and one of the best players in the league.

NBA icon slams LeBron James for stacking his teams and believes he should have more than four championships

LeBron James' move to the Philadelphia 76ers has been heavily scrutinized, with many believing he joined the team solely to win another championship.

On Wednesday, Charles Barkley reiterated these points and didn't hold back on LeBron joining the 76ers, claiming he should have more championships given the way he stacks his teams.

"I ain't got nothing but respect for LeBron, but don't sit up there and tell me he got four Hall of Fame careers. If he's gonna stack his team like that, he should have more than four championships," Barkley said.

James' tenure in Philly has so far been smooth sailing, with the 76ers continuing to dominate the East early in the season.
