We are all set to begin! The players are making their way out to the middle now. Nayeem Hasan and Jaker Ali are the overnight batters for Bangladesh. Jomel Warrican will start with the ball for West Indies. Let's play..

Time to hear from the other camp -Bangladesh's Taijul Islam says they focused on bowling in partnerships even when wickets did not come, which helped them. Adds that a target of something around 200 will be a good one on this wicket.Taijul mentions that Nayeem Hasan bowled really well to wrap up the Windies tail, and now hopes that he and Jaker Ali can add a few more runs along with the others to give the bowlers something to bowl at.

A quick chat -West Indies' Tagenarine Chanderpaul says the bowlers kept things tight by hitting the right areas consistently and putting pressure on the batting side to score. With wickets falling, he focused on staying at the crease and building the innings. He admits the dressing room had initially hoped for a lead of around 30-50 runs, but feels they are still in a decent position after the bowlers picked up six wickets. TG says the immediate priority is to finish the job by getting the opposition out as quickly as possible. With the conditions expected to deteriorate and potentially offer more spin, Chanderpaul says the team will look to take the remaining wickets and then chase down the total.

PITCH REPORT -Russel Arnold says that the pitch is dry with a lot of cracks, as you expect on a Day 4 wicket, and it will turn. He reckons that the batters will need to be more careful about the straighter ones. Suggests that they will need to play for that, and if the ball spins, it will miss the outside edge. Another thing that the batters can do is defend behind the pad.

A gripping finish in prospect -With the game so finely poised, the opening hour could set the tone for the entire day. Bangladesh have the chance to turn their narrow advantage into a match-winning position, while West Indies are just a few wickets away from chasing a manageable target. And with Day 4 potentially having enough in it to decide the Test, we could be in for a fascinating finish.

Bangladesh need runs, not just time -For Bangladesh, the focus will be on stretching the lead as far as possible. Nayeem and Jaker have already shown plenty of determination in their unbeaten stand, but beyond them there is not much recognised batting left. The hosts will want to add another 70-100 runs if possible before handing the ball back to their bowlers, knowing that a sizeable target could put the pressure firmly back on the visitors.

West Indies eye early breakthroughs -West Indies will be eager to strike early and clean up the remaining Bangladesh batting. Jomel Warrican gave them the perfect start in the final session by removing Litton Das, while Roston Chase and the other bowlers will be hoping to make the most of a pitch that has offered increasing assistance to spin.An early cluster of wickets could leave Bangladesh with a modest target and put West Indies firmly in the driving seat.

The big day begins -Welcome back to what could be a decisive Day 4 in this Test. After another day where bad light had the final say, Bangladesh resume on 79/6, holding a 106-run lead, with Nayeem Hasan and Jaker Ali at the crease. With the weather and light already playing their part in the game, both sides will know that every session could prove crucial.

Moving on -That brings us to the end of a very eventful Day 3, with West Indies holding a slight edge heading into the final two days. Bangladesh have plenty of work to do if they are to turn this into a contest, and Day 4 could well prove decisive, potentially even being the final day of this Test.Play resumes on Saturday, 31st October, and do join us early for all the build-up and action. Until then, take care and cheers!

Bad light cuts short an intriguing final session -West Indies came out firing in the final session and struck early, with Jomel Warrican getting rid of Litton Das. They could have added another, but Nayeem Hasan survived a close LBW call from Joshua Bishop thanks to an inside edge.Nayeem then joined Jaker Ali in a determined rebuilding effort, with the pair taking Bangladesh's lead past 100 while remaining unbeaten on 18 each.Much will hinge on this partnership, with the pair representing Bangladesh's last recognised batting combination and likely to shape the target they set for West Indies.

Nayeem stars before Chase rattles Bangladesh -West Indies' lower order folded quickly after the break, with Nayeem Hasan claiming the final three wickets to complete a four-wicket haul and bowl them out for 245, giving Bangladesh a 27-run first-innings lead.Roston Chase remained unbeaten on 43 but ran out of partners, while Nayeem also became the fastest Bangladesh bowler to 50 Test wickets in terms of balls bowled. Bangladesh's reply got off to a disastrous start, with Roston Chase picking up three wickets in the space of 10 balls as the hosts slumped to 34/4 by Tea, leaving their overall lead at just 61 runs.

Chanderpaul and Greaves steady West Indies -West Indies began the day at 134/4, with Tagenarine Chanderpaul and Justin Greaves looking to rebuild after losing two quick wickets late on Day 2. Chanderpaul continued his patient approach and brought up a hard-fought half-century, while Greaves provided solid support as the pair added 65 runs for the fifth wicket. However, Shoriful Islam broke through by having Chanderpaul caught at slip for 56. Greaves looked comfortable and moved closer to a fifty, but Nayeem Hasan struck with the final ball before Lunch, trapping him lbw for 46. West Indies went into the break at 213/6, still trailing by 59 runs.

10.33 am GMT - STUMPS, DAY 3!The official word is in, and the umpires have called it a day.Not the ideal finish once again, with bad light bringing an early end to proceedings, but Day 3, often called 'Moving Day', certainly kept us engrossed as the game moved along nicely.Bangladesh would have been confident of building on their narrow first-innings lead, but West Indies have fought back strongly and will feel they now hold the upper hand. If they can make early inroads on the morning of Day 4, they could put themselves within touching distance of a hard-fought Test victory.

UPDATE - 10.24 am GMT -The situation in Mirpur looks increasingly bleak as the light has deteriorated significantly. With conditions turning very dark across the ground, the prospect of a resumption today appears slim. It now seems highly likely that the match is heading toward an early finish for the day. The umpires have once again got out in the middle with the light meter, and they don't look all that pleased.

UPDATE-10.10 am GMT -The umpires have walked out to the middle for an official inspection, carefully checking and recording the readings on the light meter. While body language can be difficult to interpret, the officials appear satisfied with the current visibility. If their positive assessment holds true, a resumption of play could be just around the corner.

UPDATE - 9.35 am GMT -Uh-oh!The light meter is out again, and the reading has not been deemed safe enough for play to continue. The umpires have asked the players to walk off, bringing another frustrating interruption to this Test. We will have to wait and see if conditions improve enough for a resumption.
