The 33-year-old left-arm spinner spent the previous three seasons with Delhi Capitals, claiming 33 wickets in 24 matches while contributing 295 runs with the bat.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru opened its player account at the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2027 auction in Kochi on Wednesday, snapping up Australian all-rounder Jess Jonassen for her base price of Rs. 40 lakh.
The 33-year-old left-arm spinner spent the previous three seasons with Delhi Capitals, claiming 33 wickets in 24 matches while contributing 295 runs with the bat.
Jonassen had withdrawn from the WPL 2026 auction due to injury and was recently ruled out of the upcoming Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) season with a hip complaint. She is, however, expected to return to competitive cricket by January 2027.
